Today was Jenny's visit with Dr. Michaels, who was the intake doctor when she went back into chemo last December.
He did not have blood results but we are assuming all is well in that area.
The cancer has gone into remission again, which is a good thing.
She will have another CT scan in August to track the tumour they see on her right ovary. Although it has not shrunk in size, it is now 'cystic', which means fluid filled instead of solid. He explained that that, too, is a good thing. The important thing is that she responded to chemo, and is in remission.
She is feeling well, looks terrific, and has lots of energy (that last transfusion really set her up nicely).
Onward and upward! Tomorrow is her birthday. Always be grateful for another birthday, and never complain about aging, or being too old. It is our goal to get to be really really old!
