Well, the Energizer Bunny's batteries have run down now.
Sooner or later it was bound to happen. But wow, did 'we' get a lot done around here!
I couldn't begin to list the things that Jenny took on between Monday afternoon and
Tuesday evening, right down to and including my sock drawer!
I told her I think I should slip some dexamethasone into her food whenever the house needs an overhaul!
(Dexamethasone is one of the pills she takes on chemo day and the following day).
The down side of that however, is that she has trouble sleeping at night.
Hopefully that will improve tonight as she is feeling very tired.
That is expected, and we are taking these things a little more in stride now.
She needs to sleep, she sleeps. The nausea will hit soon, so I pack cheese and crackers
in a cold pack and put it in the bathroom for her at night in case she needs a bite through the night.
It helps with the nausea.
We have learned some little tricks now that help her through. Taking a snack with us when we go out is another one. We had learned that last year, but had forgotten it. We now remember (to remember), as she was stuck out with no snacks a few times, and that leads to lots of nausea.
So all in all, things are pretty much on schedule, and we will go with the flow.
