Monday, December 27

We trust that you all had a wonderful Christmas. We certainly had a nice time.
We always do our Christmas with the family at our house, but this year Carl and Shannon suggested we do it there. We had set Thursday the 23rd as the date.

Our friends Joan and Larry joined us as well, so there were we six adults and the two children. I cooked the turkey the night before, and also took the mashed potatoes and gravy. Joan brought dessert and Shannon did the rest.

Of course, it was like any other day for Max, but he enjoyed himself with lots of people around. Both he and Sophie are quite the socialites. Sophie was getting the drift this year about Santa Claus and of course she understands presents very well! So we all had a good time and a super dinner.

Earlier that day Jenny was drained again at the caner clinic. This time they took off 2.9 litres. She felt so much better after it was done, and as a result she was able to enjoy the festivities.

On Christmas Day, our friends Marg and Sandy had 14 for dinner. They had mountains of delicious food. In fact, we pretty well ate from the time we got there until we left! It was a really good time with friends.
Since Christmas we have been lolly-gagging(sp?) around the house. On Wednesday we will go to Vancouver to spend the night at Jenny's goddaughter Shannon's new condo that she just purchased. Her mother, our friend Linda Schmidt will also be there, and they're taking us to a sing along stage play of 'White Christmas'. We will come back home on Thursday.

To you and yours a very 'Happy New Year'.
