As Vancouver Islanders know, we had a dump of snow here yesterday,
Snow here is different from other places, as it is generally quite wet and makes instant
ice under your tires. Couple that with not the best snow removal and you have a problem.
Most of the problem is the nature of the snow, however, compared to my experience in Ontario
where people think nothing of driving in it. The snow is much more 'driveable' there.
Anyway, Jenny's drain was set up for 8:30 this morning and we were not sure how the roads would be, so we stayed in touch with Carl who said the driving was fine. So we headed in and got there by 8:15.
Today she had 4 litres drained. Neither of us would have guessed it would be so much, but it was and it is a relief for her. She is a bit dragged out now, but she did not have a very good sleep last night so hopefully by tomorrow, she will be well rested and feeling better.
That's it for now.
