If you have not seen my post from last night, please go there to watch the video. There is a link to You Tube.
I have talked to the Hospice nurse and to Sandy who went to see how Jenny was early this morning.
She had a much better night last night. Whatever they are doing with new medications seems to be working. She has had very few episodes of the heaving. It would appear that she has ruptured a blood vessel while heaving, so there is some old blood in the stomach as well - just what she needs.
However, she is comfortable, and that is the name of the game.
I will be going down to Hospice at around noon, after Linda and Shannon get here. I will stay until later today. They will call me at any hour if there is a change. I am probably OK to come home tonight, but perhaps in a day or two I will be staying either there or at Sandy and Marg's who live five minutes from there.
We are sure lucky to have a Hospice facility here. I thought everybody had one, but I am hearing that in many places Hospice is an outreach program only. Se is set up in a private room with a big comfy recling chair, and pull out bed, TV, etc.
I got a better sleep last night, but I definitely need a few more. But it certtainly beat the several nights before that.
I will be back later with an update.
