Today was Jenny's visit with the chemo oncologist, Dr. Smith.
Fortunately, it was an uneventful visit.
Jenny's CA125 is 31. I noted that at this point last time it was running lower, but Dr. Smith said it is fine, and still heading in the right direction, and not to be concerned about that. I wasn't really concerned, I was just noting it really. Anyway, all is well, and chemo is scheduled for Monday at 10 AM.
We had Sophie today and that is always a joy for both of us. I took her in the swimming pool for the third Friday in a row. I wanted her to be used to being in the pool with me as I will be starting her in swimming lessons on Tuesday (Tuesdays and Thursdays - 10 sessions). Jenny comes and watches and is there to help with Sophie when we get out. Being as she has chemo on Monday, I will be on my own for awhile so I dare say I must devise a plan. Oh well, all the young mothers seem to do it with no problem (perhaps the operative word there is 'young'!). It is sure fun though and Sophie loves it.
So there you have it. I will post again next week. Have a great weekend, one and all.
