I realize that I have not posted for awhile.
Things here continue to run along smoothly.
Jenny is feeling pretty well (unless she overdoes it with too much gardening or whatever!).
She will see the oncologist this coming Friday, then have her fourth treatment next Monday.
She continues with the mistletoe injections.
It is a bit tricky because the dosage depends on how bright a red patch you get at the injection site.
Red is good, itchy is good.
When we find that it is just a pale pink she has to up the dosage - and all of this depends on what is happening with the immune system. Her immune system changes quite a lot during the course of the weeks during chemo, so the mistletoe effectiveness changes too. She is now at almost twice the dose she was pre-chemo.
It is an interesting approach, and something we are very grateful for.
I am not sure if I mentioned this in previous blogs or not, but it has been used in Europe for decades. And in Germany, nearly everyone with cancer is given mistletoe (along with whatever else they are doing).
I think I mentioned this before, but here it is again. We firmly believe that anyone with cancer, and who can access Neil McKinney would be well advised to do so. He also has a new book out, and in it he outlines his protocols. It is being bought by many doctors. His website is www.DrNeilMckinney.ca .
Thanks for tuning in, I will post again after her oncology visit.
