Hallelujah!

Well, chemo is over. Jenny had her last treatment on Monday (the 10th). The treatment was uneventful, as the others have been, and she had been pretty productive since then, with lots of energy.

As of this afternoon, however, the side effects have begun and she is starting to wind down.

We found out on Monday that the Sunday blood tests had her hemoglobin at 103, the first time it has broken 100 since January (normal starts at 105). Sure beats 83! Also, her white count has risen and her neutrofils are much better than they were. We'll see how she fares in a couple of weeks.

The treatment tends to knock it all down, but she is starting at a bit better place this time.

She will have a CT scan in another few weeks, and blood tests every week. Then she will see the oncologist, the same one who did the intake in December, on June 23 to put it all together.

We are very glad to see this last treatment!  I will post as developments happen over the next month or so.
