Thanks to you who have written or phoned since the posting on Friday. We certainly appreciate your support.
Jenny continues with low energy, though some times are better than others. Some wonder if she is in bed all the time. The answer is no, just for naps. But having said that, the naps are becoming more frequent. She gets up in the morning, has some breakfast on a good day, reads the paper etc then goes back to bed for from one to two hours.
She spends her days dressed as of about noon, and does not need assistance with showering or anything. She is able to look after her personal needs. But now almost any activity that we take for granted wears her out.
She naps again in the afternoon usually once, but on some days twice. After dinner we pull up to the TV and she is able to passively watch it until 10 or 10:30.
While I say our lives have been a rollercoaster for nearly 3 years now (she was diagnosed Aug 1, 2008), now it runs hourly. You can think it's still going up, when suddenly it's going down.
Thanks for tuning in.
